Greetings Matrons, Joshua, Queens, Heroines, and Knights,

It is again time to prepare for our children at Grand Session 2017; which convenes Thursday June 15, 2017. I’m reaching out to our courts and palaces. As I have asked before, please embrace a child in your community, neighborhood, church or family and sponsor them in a palace to ensure that their beginning becomes our future. By partaking in this endeavor we can be about the business of rejuvenating old and new palaces. Youth and adult registration is $30 per person for the 2016 session. Registration will include a sandwich lunch. For an additional $10 to your registration, you can receive a hot plated lunch.
Our state fundraiser remains the Pop-Up Nylon fans’ with either a Bible verse or Heroine emblems. Fans are $5 and we are asking each court to purchase or sell 3 – 5 fans. Your court can place an order for fans through the Grand High Court.
This year at Grand Session there will be a series of activities taking place. I will be awarding the palace with the most new members made from May1, 2016 to April 31, 2017 with the J. C. Hester Award. So Queens let’s do a membership drive for the palaces. Courts, it’s time to rejuvenate some of the older palaces. If your court doesn’t have a palace and you have a child you would like to participate in a palace, you could place the child in an established palace in your district.
At Grand Session, the Palace will convene at 9:00 a.m. with its Ritualistic Opening. The Grand Palace will also hold Founders’ Day Service. Queens please teach and practice in your local palace so the children will know their parts just in case they are asked to fill in a position.
IF YOU HAVE A CHILD FROM YOUR PALACE WHO WOULD LIKE TO ENTER IN THE COMPETITION, PLEASE LET ME KNOW SO THAT I CAN PREPARE CERTIFICATES.
